Happy 5th Anniversary babe!

I can't believe that Jared and I have been married for 5 years! I feel so lucky to have such a great husband who supports me in everything I do. He works so hard to provide for his girls and is such a good papa. I still get butterflies in my tummy when he walks out wearing a cute outfit or when I smell his cologne. I thought it would be fun to tell how we met. We were both in college at BYU and I was hanging out at my apartment with my roommate Natalie when our other roommate Erica came over with her boyfriend Dan. This night Dan happened to bring over his roommate Jared. Erica was on the women's BYU rugby team and Dan and Jared played together on the men's team. It was 9:00 on a Friday night and I was totally already dressed for bed. I was wearing basketball shorts and a white T-shirt (how attractive). Anyway, I thought Jared was good looking, but I totally was not interested in boys or dating because I had just gotten out of a serious relationship. Jared sat next to Natalie on the couch and we were watching t.v. Dan and Erica decided to leave and Jared was like "I'll stay here". Natalie and I kind of looked at each other like "why is he staying if they are leaving", but we were fine because we were having fun. Anyway, I laid down on the couch while we were watching tv and put my legs up on Natalie. Apparently, I put my legs all the way across Jared's lap and he totally thought I was flirting with him. I still hold to this day that I was not intentionally flirting, however, since he ended up asking me out and I eventually got a husband out of it then I guess I'm okay with that. Here are some wedding pics of me and my hunky hubby. Happy Anniversary honey, I love you!

Has it really been five years? Wow. I remember hearing that story firsthand behind the desk of the advisement center in the HFAC! Good times! Happy 5th!

I love this! Not only because I formally made it into your blog, but its fun to reminisce back on those days! Wasn't gun-shooting the first "official" date? I still remember being shocked that clay pigeons didn't look anything like a bird! ha!
Happy anniversary! so glad things are going well for your cute family.

I still would also like it to go on the record that the first time we double dated, I knew you were "the One." So glad Jared got it right! ;) Love you guys!
