Just like any other manly man, Jared has been wanting to build something for a long time. We've just never had the tools or a garage. Well we've had a garage for a couple of years now so finally Jared invested in some new tools this past black Friday. He decided his first project was to build a bed for Alexis. I was a little hesitant at first, because I had never seen Jared build anything before and our child would be sleeping on this bed. Needless to say he did an awesome job and it turned out really cute. I've already got his next 5 furniture building projects lined up!

Fun! Are you using plans from Ana White's Knock off Wood site? I have so many plans bookmarked on there. The next one we are working on it a bed for Grant, so I hope ours turns out as cute as Lexi's!
Ok, he did an awesome job! I looks just like a bed that I want for Elliot. I'm sure it was a lot cheaper too! Tell Jared to give Lane a call :)
wow that is really cute! shawn loves building things too but it's never ended up being cheaper. wood is expensive!

Amanda...it is finished! You only beat me by a week :) Hopefully, it is enough to start some momentum... And Jared...whoa!? Look at the skills! Who knew :) Now, I have something to rub in your brother's face and get a few projects up and running around here ;) Thanks for the motivation.
